At SmartDrive, we are devoted to offering best-in-class driver training tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Our MTO-approved Beginner Driver Education (BDE) Program equips new drivers with essential knowledge and practical skills. For persons with disabilities, our adaptive vehicle training ensures safe and comfortable driving experiences. Additionally, our bioptic driver training empowers those with visual impairments to drive confidently using bioptic lens technology. We also offer a specialized Seniors Program, helping older adults refresh their driving abilities and adapt to new road regulations. At SmartDrive, we are committed to delivering excellence in driver education and personalized training solutions.



MTO Approved BDE Program





New Drivers




Our MTO-approved online driving school offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to ensure SMART, Safe and Confident driving. The program include 30 hours of interactive online learning, allowing students to study at their own pace while covering essential topics like road safety, defensive driving, and traffic laws. Additionally, students will receive 10 hours of in-vehicle training, providing hands-on experience with a licensed driving instructor to develop practical and co-operative driving skills that will last a lifetime. After completing the training, students will qualify for insurance discounts and MTO certification, allowing them to take their G2 test at 8 months.


Package 1:

  • 30 hours self-paced online Basic Drivers Education
  • 10 hours in-vehicle training
  • Pick up and drop off at agreed upon location.
  • $700.00 CAD plus GST

Package 2:

  • 30 hours self-paced online BDE Program
  • 10 hours in-vehicle training
  • Plus 3 hours for use of vehicle for G2 Road Test
  • Pick up and drop off at agreed upon location.
  • $885.00 CAD plus GST




Mature Drivers




Seniors driving programs offer invaluable support to older adults by helping them maintain their independence and confidence behind the wheel. These programs focus on refreshing driving skills, learning about the changes in road regulations, and adapting to age-related challenges. By participating in a tailored seniors driving program, older drivers can improve their road safety, continue driving comfortably, and prolong their ability to stay active and connected to their communities.
